We know how important the work you do is, and we want to provide you with every support you need, providing you with resources and services that give you the right information to support evidence-based practice, as well as to support you in your studies and Continued Professional Development.

See below for some of the great resources and services we offer especially for nursing staff - all of these services and resources are absolutely free. If you would like any further information, please visit our website www.bartshealth.nhs.uk/library orcontact us at library.enquiry@bartshealth.nhs.uk.

Current Awareness Service
When you have a heavy workload, it can be hard to stay on top of all the new evidence and research coming out from a huge number of sources within your field.

Let us know your professional interests (you can be as specific or as broad as you like) and we will produce an individually tailored current awareness report which will be emailed to you every two weeks, providing a summary of key new evidence relevant to your interests.  If you want to find out more about any of the items in the summary, simply email a response and your dedicated librarian will respond to you personally.  To tell us about your interests, fill in the form here: http://www.bartshealth.nhs.uk/education/knowledge-and-library-services/keeping-up-to-date/

Barts Evidence Enquiry Service (BEES)
Need evidence in a hurry to support your decision-making? Knowledge and Library Services can help with BEES.  Simply tell us your information needs, and one of our professional librarians will buzz off and conduct a literature search to find the most relevant, up-to-date information on the subject, delivering it to you in a report with links to the full text where available. To request a literature search from BEES, fill in the form here: http://www.bartshealth.nhs.uk/education/knowledge-and-library-services/request-a-literature-search/
